Over the years I was so easily sold by weight loss “gimmicks” 🤡🤹

Special pills. Wonder injections. Cleansing smoothies. Body wraps. Scientific proven eating methods. 💊💉🥤🍽

Forever chasing that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. 🌈

I’ve done it ALL.

Fast forward to 2017 and a ton of cash later… I finally had an epiphany. 💡

Ronald… you are a bloody fool. A lazy one at that too.

I have spent years, the better half of my adult life, piling on the weight.

Yet… I was still determined to wake up in the morning “skinny”
Yes… wake up trim after a good nights rest. Just by taking some well marketed weight loss product. 🤪

There comes a time when we have to stop living in denial. I had to face the music and accept the blame for my current situation.

And that’s exactly what I did. Eventually. 😉

I stopped with the excuses. I understood that I was NOT going to lose the weight (I had accumulated over the years) OVERNIGHT.

We are creatures of habit. 🐷
When we don’t see results overnight, we become despondent. Our motivation goes out the window.
We ask ourselves “why am I even doing this?”
We set ourselves up for failure.

We need to change our expectations and mindsets, and just be honest with ourselves.

We need to COMMIT.
Consistency is key.
Enjoy the process. Enjoy the journey.
Rediscover yourself. Give yourself time.
You are worth it.

And THAT is the “miracle” right there. The key to losing the weight AND keeping it off.
Time, Patience and Consistency.

Life is about living. Being happy.

Document your journey. Take photos. Take your measurements.
Commit to eating right.
Get some workouts in. Release happy endorphins.
Have a treat every now and then.

Look back a month later and see how far you’ve come!!
Be PROUD of yourself.

And always remember… Rome wasn’t built in a day.
